We cannot allow this become a crisis, over the next few years.   As federal employees and federal retirees, who can help to solve this issue, we need to pressure Congress to act.

This is also a great membership recruiting tool for NARFE, as FERS employees have so much of their retirement benefit based upon their Social Security Benefit.  We can discuss the looming crises, and address the underfunding of the Social Security Trust Fund and what the California Federation of NARFE, has proposed to address this crisis.    

It would be great to have all NARFE chapters endorse this.
